Bill Gates Says Ideology Threatens Hunger Fix
Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 07:45PM The fight to end hunger is being hurt by environmentalists who insist that genetically modified crops cannot be used in Africa, Bill Gates, the billionaire founder of software giant Microsoft, said on Thursday.
Gates said GMO crops, fertilizer and chemicals are important tools — although not the only tools — to help small farms in Africa boost production.
“This global effort to help small farmers is endangered by an ideological wedge that threatens to split the movement in two,” Gates said in his first address on agriculture made during the annual World Food Prize forum.
“Some people insist on an ideal vision of the environment,” Gates said. “They have tried to restrict the spread of biotechnology into sub-Saharan Africa without regard to how much hunger and poverty might be reduced by it.”

Perhaps the Gates Foundation's faith in a technological solution comes from its connection to Monsanto.
It's no exaggeration to say that Bill Gates poses a far greater damage to the world than Osama bin Laden. As a Seattle teacher, I saw some of the city's finest schools wrecked by Bill Gates, not Osama. Who could possibly count all the crimes, scams and scandals associated with Microsoft alone? The LA Times revealed that the Gates Foundation is actually an investment firm with a troubled record.
Bill Gates is a career criminal, and the prospect of this sicko helping to unleash biotech on an entire continent is absolutely frightening.
