The Joint Review Panel for the Darlington New Nuclear Power Plan Project invites the public to attend a technical information session in Ottawa regarding proposed nuclear power plant designs, based on three different reactor technologies.

The objective of the half-day session is to provide information on reactor technologies in order to allow the Panel to acquire an understanding of the reactors’ principal design features, layouts, key operational parameters, overall normal operation, key safety systems, and the key similarities and differences of the technologies.

Date Location Time

December 15, 2009
Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) - Public Hearing Room
280 Slater Street, 14th floor
Ottawa, Ontario
